Forthglade makes wet food in Devon and does the thing we most want brands to do: it says what is in the tray and how much of it there is.

The one thing to get right is the difference between the complete meals and the complementary ones. Both come in similar trays with similar branding, and only one of them is a full diet. Fed as a topper the complementary trays are fine; fed as dinner they are not balanced. That is a labelling problem across the whole category rather than a Forthglade failing, but this range makes it particularly easy to pick up the wrong one.

Wet food is also expensive per calorie by nature - you are largely buying water, competently. Plenty of owners use it as half the ration alongside a dry food, which is a sensible way to have both.
