By using OnlyDogFood, creating an account or submitting a review, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. In these terms “we”/”us” means the operator of OnlyDogFood, and “you” means the person using the service. OnlyDogFood is a trading name of OnlyDogFood, a sole trader based at London, UK. What this service is
We rate and compare dog food sold in the UK by analysing the ingredients and nutrition that manufacturers publish, using the open methodology described at How we rate. It is label analysis, not veterinary advice. Nothing on this site is a substitute for advice from a qualified vet - always speak to your vet about your dog’s diet and health, especially for puppies, allergies, weight problems or medical conditions.
Scores & accuracy
Scores are computed from manufacturer-declared data. Recipes, ingredients and prices change without notice, so always check the packaging and the retailer’s listing before you buy. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any rating, ingredient analysis or price, and brands cannot pay to change a rating.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links - if you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commission never affects a score or a ranking.
Reviews
Reviews are subject to our Review Guidelines. By submitting a review you confirm it reflects your genuine first-hand experience, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, quote and moderate it as part of the service. You remain responsible for what you write, including any defamatory or misleading statements. We may decline, edit (for example, to remove personal data) or remove reviews at our reasonable discretion.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service - including posting fake or incentivised reviews, impersonating someone else, misrepresenting a connection to a brand or retailer, attempting to manipulate scores or rankings, disrupting or overloading the site, or using it for anything unlawful or misleading.
Intellectual property
The site, its design, its database and its compiled ratings are owned by us or our licensors. Quoting our scores with a credit and a link is welcome; wholesale copying or republishing of the database is not. You keep ownership of content you submit but grant us the licence described above.
Third-party trademarks & product images
Brand names, logos and product photographs shown on this site belong to their respective owners and are used solely to identify the products under review - fair dealing for the purpose of criticism and review. Their presence implies no affiliation with or endorsement by the rights holder. Rights holders and brands can request corrections or removal at any time through our Content Removal & Corrections process; see also our Disclaimer.
No endorsement
A high score means a food’s published ingredients and nutrition rate well under our methodology - it is not a guarantee that any food suits your dog. You are responsible for your own buying and feeding decisions.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information on this site or from your purchases from third-party retailers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).

We may update these terms from time to time; significant changes will be noted on this page. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
