Content Removal & Corrections

Last updated: July 2026.

OnlyDogFood lists and reviews products using information manufacturers make public. We do this carefully and in good faith - and we operate this formal process so that any brand, manufacturer or rights holder can ask us to correct information, update a listing, or remove specific content such as a product listing or an image.

Who can use this process

Brands and manufacturers (or their authorised representatives and legal advisers), photographers and other rights holders. Dog owners reporting a problem review should use the report link on the review itself, or the contact page.

What you can request

  • Corrections - ingredients, analytical values, prices, descriptions or any other factual detail that is out of date or wrong. This is the request we can act on fastest, and the outcome that serves your customers best.
  • Image removal - a specific product photograph or logo you hold rights to and do not wish us to display.
  • Product or listing removal - removal of a discontinued product, or a request to delist a current product.
  • Review concerns - a specific user review you believe is fake, defamatory or otherwise unlawful (tell us exactly why).

What we need from you

To act quickly we need: the exact page links (URLs), what specifically should change or go, the reason, and evidence you represent the brand or hold the rights - a request from an email address on the brand’s own domain is usually sufficient.

What happens next

We acknowledge requests promptly and aim to resolve them within a few working days. Factual corrections are simply made. Removal requests are assessed in good faith: where content infringes rights or is inaccurate, we will remove or fix it. Where content is accurate information and honest review - the lawful core of what a comparison site does - we may decline to remove it, and we will explain why. Claiming your free brand account is often the better route: it lets you correct your own listing and respond publicly to reviews.
