What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We keep our use of them to a minimum, and we set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies at all.
Essential cookies (always on)
- Consent choice (
odf_consent) - remembers your cookie decision for 12 months. Strictly necessary, so set without consent. - WordPress log-in cookies (e.g.
wordpress_logged_in_*) - only set if you sign in to leave or manage reviews (or to run the site). Used purely to keep your session secure. - Technical infrastructure cookies - our hosting cache (LiteSpeed) and Cloudflare may set short-lived technical cookies for security and performance. They identify no one and need no consent.
Functional storage (not cookies)
For transparency: your browser’s localStorage may keep your dog’s weight (for feeding calculations), your currency preference and a mirror of your consent choice. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
- Google Analytics 4 (e.g.
_ga,_ga_*) - only set after you accept analytics cookies. Anonymised usage statistics that help us understand which pages are useful.
Advertising cookies
None. We do not set advertising cookies today.
Managing your choice
You can accept or reject analytics cookies via the banner shown on your first visit, and change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
