First the correction: Kirkland Signature is Costco's own label, so this is an American brand rather than a British one, and the dry food is made for Costco by a large US manufacturer. It reaches UK bowls through Costco warehouses and third-party sellers, which is worth knowing because it affects both price and whether you can reliably get the same bag twice.

The rated recipe is a grain-inclusive dry food. That is the main thing keeping the score where it is rather than higher, and for most dogs it is a non-issue.
