One food is not a range. That score says this freeze-dried recipe holds up, and it is a genuinely good result, but it is not a track record and it tells you nothing about what the brand does next.
Freeze-dried raw scores well for the same reasons frozen raw does: the ingredient list is short, the meat is named and the percentage is declared, so there is very little for our system to mark down. The trade-off is price. Freeze-drying is an expensive process and it shows up in what you pay per day, in exchange for raw nutrition that sits in a cupboard rather than a freezer.
Worth knowing that NutriPaw is primarily a supplements business - herbal chews and health products - that has added food alongside. That is not a criticism, but it does mean this is one recipe rather than a considered range, and the brand's main expertise sits elsewhere.
