Air-drying is the part worth explaining, because most owners have never fed it. Moisture is removed slowly at low temperature rather than the ingredients being blasted through an extruder, so the food ends up shelf-stable and scoopable like kibble while keeping a recipe closer to what raw feeders are after. It is the compromise category for people who want the ingredient list of raw and the convenience of a bag in the cupboard.

The cost of that is price per kilo. Air-dried food looks expensive on the shelf because the water is gone, so you feed far less of it by weight than you would kibble. Work out the price per day rather than per bag before you decide it is out of reach - and equally, do not assume it is cheap because the bag is small.

One food is not a range. The score says this recipe holds up on its label; it says nothing about consistency across a lineup, because we do not hold one to judge. Rocketo is a London company selling on subscription, so factor in that you are committing to a delivery rhythm rather than a shelf.
