Specific is a veterinary range. Most of what it sells is clinical diets - foods formulated for a diagnosed condition, sold through vets, and designed to restrict or boost things a healthy dog does not need restricted or boosted. We do not score those, deliberately. Rating a renal or a hydrolysed diet against an everyday adult kibble would produce a number that is worse than useless, because it would be marking a food down for doing exactly the job it was made for.
