Our take on WorkingHPRs
Written by us, from the labels. Never written, reviewed or paid for by the brand.
We have rated 1 WorkingHPRs food, and it scores 81/100 (Very good).
The name refers to hunt, point and retrieve breeds - the gundog group that covers pointers, vizslas, weimaraners and the like - and the food is aimed at working households. That corner of the market is usually a race to the bottom on price per kilo, with vague ingredient lists to match, so a score up here is not what we normally see on a working dog bag.
Cost is the other half of it, at around £0.62 a day. That is cheap for the score, and cheap matters more than usual when you are feeding several dogs.
One food is not a range, so this is a verdict on one grain-free dry recipe rather than on the brand as a whole. If you feed working dogs and have been buying on price alone, this is worth putting side by side with what is currently in your shed.
