Our take on Zenoo
Written by us, from the labels. Never written, reviewed or paid for by the brand.
We have rated 1 Zenoo food, and it scores 84/100 - near the top of the Very good band.
One food is not a range, so that is a verdict on this recipe and not a track record. Freeze-dried raw tends to do well with us because there is so little to hide behind: a named meat, a declared percentage, a short list. This one does those things.
Worth being clear about where it comes from, because the UK web address makes it look domestic and it is not. Zenoo is a Lithuanian brand and the food is made in Italy from Italian ingredients. None of that is a problem - it is just not what the .co.uk implies, and we would rather you knew.
The marketing is where we would ease off. Freeze-drying is a well-established process and describing it as NASA technology is a picture rather than a specification. The thing that makes this food good is the ingredient list, which stands up on its own without the space programme. Check the food page here for the full breakdown before you buy - freeze-dried is one of the more expensive ways to feed a dog per day.
