Air-drying removes moisture slowly with warm air rather than cooking the ingredients into a kibble, so the label stays close to a raw recipe: named meat, organs and bone at high declared percentages, very little else. That is the kind of label our score likes, and the number reflects it. The tinned food scores 65, a decent result but a clear step down.

The part nobody puts on the front of the bag is the cost. Air-dried food is dense, so you feed a small amount by weight, but the price per kilo is high and it has travelled a long way to reach a British shelf.
