Pedigree is one of the most recognised names in the country and posts the lowest average on this site: 14/100 (Avoid) across 31 rated foods, ranking 284 of 290, with a range of 7 to 37.
The gap between reputation and score is entirely about labelling. These recipes are built on the broad categories pet food law permits - unnamed meat and animal derivatives, unspecified cereals, added sugars in some lines - so the label cannot tell you what is actually in the bag, or whether this month's batch matches last month's. Our score penalises that heavily and deliberately.
